Overview
An eye care centre offering everything from routine exams to specialised surgical treatment needed a website that could carry the weight of a genuinely anxious patient journey, while still being simple enough to lead to an actual booked appointment.
The challenge
Patients researching eye surgery are, understandably, anxious and comparing multiple providers before committing to anyone. A meaningful share of the local audience searches and reads more comfortably in Marathi than in English, and for many, whether a procedure is covered by insurance matters before anything else about the clinic itself. On top of this, the clinic offers a genuinely wide range of care, from routine screening to specialised surgical procedures, and the site needed to organise all of it without overwhelming a visitor who is often already stressed.
The approach
Build bilingual messaging in from the start
Rather than treating Marathi as an afterthought translation layer, key messaging was written to sit naturally alongside English throughout the site, so a visitor more comfortable reading in Marathi gets the same clarity and warmth as one reading in English.
Group services the way patients actually think about them
Services were organised into clear groups, vision and glasses removal, cornea specialties, and general and surgical care, with dedicated sections carved out for the highest intent treatments specifically, cataract surgery and permanent specs removal, since these are what most visitors are actively researching when they land on the site.
Front load every trust signal that matters
A cashless and insurance approved badge appears early, directly answering the financial question many visitors have before they read anything else. Patient and successful surgery counts, the lead doctor's credentials, and real Google reviews reinforce credibility without requiring the visitor to dig for it.
Give visitors a reason to engage before they are ready to book
Free self help tools, a self diagnosis checker, a colour vision check, and a near focus trainer, give a visitor who is not ready to book an appointment yet a genuine reason to interact with the site and the brand, increasing the odds they return when they are ready.
Make every path end in the same action
Regardless of which page or service a visitor lands on, the site consistently resolves to one of two actions, a WhatsApp appointment request or a direct phone call, matching how patients in this market actually prefer to book rather than forcing them through a web form.
The outcome
The finished site carries a patient from an anxious search through to a WhatsApp conversation in only a few taps, with dedicated sections addressing international patients and bridal or groom specific procedures that most competing clinics never address directly on their websites.
